   Batman and Pocketknife having some fun with some of the Atlanta Skydive crew.

My hangar mate Ron ("Batman") had been taking jumpers up for several months and I just couldn't get up the nerve. I wasn't afraid of them jumping out of my trike. I think that I was afraid of how I would feel if something bad happened.

Well for some unknown reason I got over that feeling. I guess, after seeing them make so many jumps, I developed more confidence in their ability. Either way, I decided to try it.

For this first jump we decided to take two guys up and let them go at the same time. We didn't rehearse it on the ground and we got the timing off. We'll do better next time. Maybe we'll install the red and green lights like the "real" planes use :) :)
