Mainair Rapier 503

WooHoo!!! My very first trike.

I found this trike listed on www.barnstormers.com . It belonged to a fellow in north west Florida that was a contractor for the military. He was stationed in Gitmo and didn't get to fly very often. It had only 120 hrs on it and came with 2 wings. I never did get to meet the guy since he was out of the country, but I did thank him for selling me such a great trike.

I did all of my training with Jon Dunn in his Pegasus 582. The funny thing was that I didn't solo in his trike. My solo in the Mainair was my first time flying in it (that was interesting). It's a great trike that is very agile. I liked it very much but really wanted the comfort of the Pegasus.

I sold the extra wing to "Batman" and sold the trike to Ed Reynolds from Roopville, Ga. It is still currently hangared with Ron and I in Cedartown.
